Mark Jackson

Mark joined BBO as a Site Engineer in 2017, bringing experience from the civil construction sector in both New Zealand and western Australia. Mark is a NZ Transport Agency accredited Engineer’s Representative (Level 3), and Engineer to Contract (Level 1), with expertise in major state highway upgrades, subdivisions, and complex road safety retrofit programmes.

In 2020, Mark was promoted to Senior Site Engineer, in recognition of his strong leadership, resilience, and ability to foster productive relationships between contractors, clients, and stakeholders. His collaborative and solutions-focused approach have been instrumental in supporting the delivery of transport infrastructure projects.

In 2026, Mark transitioned into the role of Construction Monitoring Manager (Bay of Plenty) and Engineer’s Representative for the Takitimu North Link Stage 1 project, leading the regional construction monitoring team and providing client assurance. Mark focuses on delivering high-quality, best-for-project outcomes, balancing technical excellence and risk management.
