Pang Chong Heng

Pang is a Director of BBO and heads BBO's Structural Engineering team. He has worked for BBO since 2005 after working for a related company in Singapore since 1989. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate engineering degrees from the National University of Singapore, and has achieved registration as a Professional Engineer in Singapore and CPEng status in New Zealand.

Pang's experience has some unusual highlights, including the design of the first major suspension bridge in Singapore, and involvement with the design of the barrage at Marina Channel to provide flood control and to retain fresh water. Recent experience includes the concept development and detailed design of bridges of a wide range of types in New Zealand. Pang’s primary interests and passion are the design of bridge and heavy engineering structures.
