Ryan Fergusson

Ryan joined BBO in 2016, and with a keen interest in complex capital works projects, he wasted no time utilising his civil, structural, and environmental skills and experience. Ryan is recognised for his strong leadership, and professional and personable interaction with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.

Ryan has successfully delivered Construction Monitoring and Contract Administration services for the Waikato Expressway Huntly Section, Whirokino Trestle and Manawatu River Bridge replacement, Wairere Drive/Cobham Drive Interchange, and Peacocke Waikato River Bridge (Te Ara Pekapeka Bridge) and Strategic Services.  In addition to multiple smaller scale projects, Ryan currently leads the site team in the delivery of two major construction contracts within the Peacocke Strategic Transport network: Stages 2 and 3 of Peacocke Whatukooruru Drive (East-West Arterial and Peacockes Road urban upgrade).

In 2026, Ryan became Manager of BBO’s Construction Monitoring team in the Waikato, reflecting his strong leadership skills and commitment to developing his team. Alongside the delivery of multiple smaller-scale projects, Ryan is currently responsible for two major construction contracts within the Peacocke Strategic Transport network - Stage 2 and Stage 3 of Peacocke Whatukooruru Drive, acting as Engineer's Representative and Engineer to Contract respectively.
